NC DPI Autism Team
The NCDPI Autism Team serves as a resource to Local Education Agencies, traditional and charter. Our goal is to help ensure that students with Autism Spectrum Disorder develop intellectually, physically, emotionally, and vocationally. We accomplish this by providing universal, customized, and tailored support through Professional Learning and Technical Assistance to Local Education Agencies throughout the state. This fosters capacity building and sustainment of best practices for Local Education Agencies to provide appropriate Individualized Education Programs in the Least Restrictive Environment. The NCDPI Autism Team supports the use of individualized Evidence-Based Practices tailored to the unique learning styles and developmental levels of students. Please contact your Regional Autism Consultant with any questions.
