Technical Assistance is provided by the NCDPI Autism Consultants when LEAs feel that they need programmatic or student-specific support. Consultants work with the LEA to help build systems of capacity and sustainability of support within the LEA.

Depending on the request, the NCDPI Autism Consultant may provide several different forms of Technical Assistance.

Please Note: If the request is student-specific, an IEP meeting will need to be conducted to open up a reevaluation, prior to an NCDPI Autism Consultant coming to conduct an observation.
